Cleaning red wine stain is an easy job with just vinegar and dish washing liquid. Here is what we do. We get a white rag cloth or paper towels a spoon of vinegar a spoon of dishwashing liquid a spoon of salt and warm water. As soon as you stain your carpet with red wine blot as much of it as you can with a paper towel and then cover the entire stain with salt until you can t see the red wine stain anymore.

Now you re ready for step 3. Diy stain solution by mixing 1 3 cup of white vinegar with 2 3 cup of water. For this step you can either sprinkle a generous amount of baking soda onto the stain or make a paste. You fold the rag up in half and clean up the glass. When the stain is lighter use mild dish washing detergent to blot the remaining stain. Absorb red wine from carpet.
